UPDATE: Somehow I had two soundtracks in this episode superimposed. That has now been fixed, so those of you who tried to watch the previous version, it is now fixed.
This is the second part of the short series on the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). It contains what I think is a simple argument why it is plausible to believe that the world won’t come to an end, and why it didn’t come to an end, when the LHC was turned on for the first time.
Also this episode contains a short rant on science journalism.
